This information is licensed to authorized resellers and third parties for business intelligence, marketing and data management purposes. Some of the information may be classified as personal information under various laws, such as information relating to an individual (for example, a sole trader, a company director, a beneficial owner, a trustee, or a professional contact.)
This privacy notice explains how we collect, share and protect personal information.

This Privacy Notice applies to Panscient, Inc and the Panscient owned website www.panscient.com.
This Privacy Notice does not apply to personal information of current Panscient employees.

We do not collect any personal data from your interaction with the Panscient website www.panscient.com. We do not serve cookies or otherwise track users of the Panscient website in any way.
The software hosting our website may log IP addresses automatically, but such information is only used to compute aggregate traffic statistics.
Since we do not collect any data from your interaction with the Panscient website, we do not sell or provide such data to third parties.
If you contact us explicitly for any reason, we only use your contact information to respond to you. We do not disclose any of the information contained in such requests to any third parties, except if we are legally obliged to do so in response to a court order, subpoena, law enforcement proceeding, regulatory inquiry or when otherwise legally required.

Panscient collects professional business contact information from US-based corporate websites which we then license to authorized resellers and third parties for business intelligence, marketing and data management purposes.
Panscient's professional business contact information is collected by automatically crawling publicly available corporate, government, non-profit and educational websites.
The specific data collected by Panscient includes business contact information such as name, title, address, phone number, fax number, e-mail address, domain name and url. We also collect background information regarding company management and employees, including educational and career history, and membership in external organizations.
As part of our US employee hiring and onboarding process, we collect information relating to potential employees’ education background and work history. This Privacy Notice does not apply to personal information of current or former Panscient employees.
Panscient does not collect any sensitive personally identifiable information, including but not limited to: individual's social security numbers, driver's licenses, photo ID, dates of birth or citizenship.
Panscient licenses the professional business contact information we collect to authorized resellers and third party businesses for business intelligence, marketing, and data management purposes.
Panscient respects your privacy preferences and offers the following ways through which you may control how we disclose your information.
Individuals whose contact information is included in our professional business contact data may request to be excluded by emailing privacy@panscient.com.
Businesses who wish to have all their contact information removed may do so by sending an email to crawler@panscient.com.
Businesses can also exclude Panscient's web crawlers through the Robot Exclusion Standard. The Panscient web crawler identifies itself using the user-agents "panscient.com" or "pantest", and obeys the robot exclusion protocol.
To exclude the Panscient web crawler from accessing portions of your site, please modify your website's robots.txt file to identify the directories and files which the crawler should not request. Our web crawler also obeys the robots meta-tag directives of "noindex" and "nofollow", which can be placed in the header section of individual web pages.
To completely exclude our web crawler from your site, add the following entry to your robots.txt file:

All complaints or concerns and appropriate resolution relating to our privacy practices and personal information handling practices will be logged. If you have a question or concern regarding Panscient's data privacy practices, please contact privacy@panscient.com.
We will aim to respond to your concern or complaint within 30 days, and we will do our best to resolve any issues as quickly as possible.
When you submit a complaint or concern, you are consenting to Panscient using the personal information you provide, and any information we may have about you, to address and respond to your request, including to transfer any necessary information about you across country borders. You may withdraw your consent by contacting us in the same way that you submitted your complaint or concern. If you do not provide your consent, or if you withdraw your consent, we may be unable to address or respond to your request.
Panscient maintains commercially reasonable security measures to protect personal information against unauthorized access and disclosure that are consistent with our business operations and generally accepted industry standards. These measures include the implementation of technical, physical and administrative security safeguards. Panscient requires employees to complete privacy and security training.
We do not necessarily control how you send us your personal information. Therefore, we cannot always ensure or warrant the security of any information that you transmit to us. You agree that you provide this information and engage in such transmissions at your own risk. Once we receive information from you, we will endeavor to maintain its security on our systems. Panscient has established policies and procedures for securely managing information and protecting personal information against unauthorized access and we continually assess our data privacy, information management and data security practices. We do this in the following ways:
Establishing policies and procedures for securely managing information and as may be further addressed in our contractual relationship with a customer;
Limiting employee access to sensitive information;
Protecting against unauthorized access to customer data by using data encryption, authentication and virus detection technology, as required;
Requiring service providers with whom we do business to comply with relevant data privacy legal and regulatory requirements;
Conducting background checks on employees and providing Data Privacy training to our team members;
Continually assessing our data privacy, information management and data security practices
The Panscient website, products and services are for business purposes only. They are not targeted, intended or expected to be of use to children. We do not knowingly collect information on minors under 16 years of age. If we become aware that information we collected may be associated with a minor under 16 years of age, we will delete that information.
If we make material changes to our data privacy practices, this policy will be updated and posted on our website in order to keep you informed of how we collect, use, manage, disclose, and protect information. The policy effective date will be updated accordingly.
In the event that Panscient is purchased or sells parts or all of the business, the information collected will be considered an asset that can be transferred.
California Civil Code Section 1798.83 also known as the “Shine the Light” law permits customers who are California residents to request certain information regarding our disclosure of personal information to third parties for their direct marketing purposes. We may deny your deletion request if retaining the information is necessary for us or our service providers to:
